Designed the specifications for developing the purchase management system in IBM390, MVS, ASSEMBLER, REXX, PL1, COBOL, CICS, and DB2. Prepared the on-line access to purchase data using DB2-connect, UDB.

Created specification for development of the HR mainframe system for data download to client-server. Used MVS, JCL and VSAM. Used Crystal Reports for Data Performance.

Consulted the support team of the Product Data Management system on an IBM390 using ASSEMBLER, COBOL, PL1, DB/2, VM/ESA, REXX and C/SQL. The application was critical for the customer’s engineering and manufacturing departments

Managed the development and implementation of the system for an on-line elevator design. The system was critical for company market competition. Used OOP, Visual С++, Visual Basic 6, SQL Server, ADO Method, for images file access, COM and stored procedures.( Application is available for demonstration). Created the integrated system of printed and graphical documents for using in elevator design. Solved the problem of on-line access to CAD and drawings files.

Analyzed the requirements for engineering applications for ThyssenKrupp, the primary customer and created the integrated plan of their improvement and redesign.

Performed analysis of PDM system for Y2K compliance and made recommendations for system reprogramming. Evaluated conversion of system to Windows 2000 platform. Analyzed data integrity in the database. Analyzed and made recommendations to the customers for better performance of UNIX server for the database.

The primary customer – Ultramar Diamond oil company in Montreal, QC.

Analyzed, gathered requirements, developed and supported applications for supply, financing, general ledger, property tax and HRIS in an IBM-390 DB/2 environment using VM, SAS, ISPF, REXX, PL1, COBOL, SQL and also MVS, at the customer’s request.

Maintained and supported networking applications for a supply system on client-server using GUPTA tools and ORACLE database.

Prepared test database in DB2 for Y1999 project and tested MVS based information systems. Fixed problems in PL1, COBOL, REXX programs, ISPF tables and DB/2 database to match Y1999 requirements. EDS’s management commended the results.

Participated in SAP implementation. Designed data layouts for GL and FI systems, prepared data conversion from existing database. Participated in the project for transformation of HR and Property Tax systems from mainframe to client-server. Created data layouts and converted information from DB/2 to LAN.

Maintained and programmed the real-time oil supply system on VAX/VMS. Provided on-call 24/7 support for customers across Canada.
