Summary of Research and Teaching Experience:

1.Teaching (Courses)

1)SAT, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-calculus, AP Calculus, AP Statistics (in Sylvan Learning)

2)Advanced Engineering Math (in UNT, MEEN 5140)

Solution of ordinary differential equations by power series methods and special functions, Laplace transform methods, and phase plane methods.

Solution of partial differential equations of physics - the heat, and Laplace equations- by separation of variables.

In addition, the finite difference method, finite element method and control volume method in numerical methods are introduced.

The final project will use a numerical or analytical method to solve partial deferential equations for an actual research project.

3)Advanced Experimental Design and Analysis (in UNT, MEEN 4800/5800)

The course is designed for the senior engineering students and graduates, to use appropriate statistical methods for experiments for engineering problem solving.

To help the students use minimum experimental effort to obtain the most meaningful results, and to make an appropriate conclusion.

The techniques learned from the course will include design value determination, analysis of variance, comparative experiments, linear and non-linear regressions, randomized block, correlation analysis, and factorial design.

4)Data Analysis in Engineering (in UNT, MEEN 2110)

•Being designed for the engineering students to use appropriate statistical methods for engineering problems

•Students will understand the concepts on probability, random variables, intervals, distributions, randomization, replications, and experimental errors.
