Vice President of IT, Dakotaland Federal Credit Union, Huron, SD 57350, 5/17-5/23

Duties: I lead the IT staff in all aspects of technology functions for a 13 location Credit Union. I coordinate IT participation and responses to NCUA audits, manage Cybersecurity, and in 2018 coordinated the IT buildup of two multi-million-dollar branch/IT Hot Site construction projects and two branch merger/expansions. I have led the restructuring of the IT help desk and I work with third-party vendors to complete the vulnerability, patch and penetration test findings per NCUA requirements. I maintain membership in the FBI Infragard organization for critical infrastructure IT professionals.

Chief Information Officer, Community Counseling Services, Huron, SD 57350, 3/05-5/17.

Duties: I was the “face of Behavioral Health EHR implementation” statewide as CIO for a 7-county behavioral health and chemical dependency organization. My original duties began with implementing all electronic systems including a SQL-based Electronic Health Record system, Microsoft servers, workstations, wireless networks and Avaya phone systems. I served as the HIPAA Security officer and IT budget manager. I led the Federal Meaningful Use and HIPAA IT compliance process and maintained vendor/3rd Party relationships. I supervised 2 staff and IT interns and presented EHR systems three other behavioral health centers, a Chiropractic practice and a Nursing/long-term care facility. I secured grant funding from USAC, BIT, Midco, and Federal Meaningful Use programs. For the year 7/14 to 7/15 I served as a third-party IT consultant to CCS.

Network Security Manager, Worthington Ag Parts, Sioux Falls, SD 57107, 7/14-7/15.

Duties: I was the technical manager for a global agricultural parts company that includes Worthington Ag Parts, Capello combine heads, Parts Express and Neil’s Parts of Australia. I managed a VMWare-based Network Operations Center with HP SAN and servers running Windows 2008R2 and 2012 OS, HP and Dell desktops, laptops and Microsoft Surfaces. I managed the TCP/IP network comprised of Sonicwall firewalls, Cisco and HP Layer 2 and 3 switches, VPNs and VLANs. I led the installation of a new corporation-wide Mitel IP phone system and assisted in a Microsoft licensing audit.

Duties: Computer Consultant for multiple clients including Children's Care Hospital and Harrisburg School.
