LACY ALBERIGI

SKILLS

Working hands on, good communication skills/ customer service, hard worker. When it comes to learning new skills, and tasks, I try my hardest to understand right away. I work great with others, and always come in with a positive attitude.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Honeymoon Frozen Yogurt, Sebastopol, Ca — Cashier

MARCH 2018 - JUNE 2018

●Opening I would have to get the shop set up and make sure the shop was in good condition, cleaned, and properly set up, and make sure the machines were running right, and put in new yogurt on certain days. Also having to water the plants outside and wash the walkway around the shop to make sure there was no food on the ground.

●Handling food throughout the day and making sure the shop stayed sanitized and in the back as well, and making sure I kept sanitized also. Putting more yogurt into the machines so they wouldn’t run out, and when toppings, cones, cups, drinks or utensils were running low I had to make sure I filled them back up.

●Closing the shop I had to bring in all the tables and chairs and wipe those down, then lock everything up while I washed all the containers out and made sure all the toppings got filled and were fresh. Then I had to wipe down the machines and the toppings area, and mop the shop. After making sure everything was cleaned and put away for the next person the morning after I had to count and check the change and make sure we had a certain amount and whatever there was left we would put in the drop box.

Casini Ranch Family Campground, Duncans Mills, Ca —Groundskeeper

JUNE 2018 - AUGUST 2018

●As a groundskeeper, I would have a job first thing in the morning when I got there to go around the entire campground and check to make sure all the people had their cars check in with the general store, and make sure there was nobody that had come in through out the night and snuck in, because we had to leave the gates open just in case for emergency. After doing that chore, I had to clean up every site for the campers who were coming in that day. Then after those were all done we had to clean the sites of the campers who left.

●Being a groundskeeper I had to make sure the campground was clean by picking up all the trash, and also making sure the trash cans were emptied out, and also making sure the doggie bags had been filled as well. We also had to deliver wood, or grills to the campers if they had requested, so we drove golf carts around the campground, and also had to fill propane tanks if any of the campers requested it as well.

JCPenney, Santa Rosa, Ca/ Redding, Ca —Cashier, Sales Team

NOVEMBER 2018 - MARCH 2021

●As a cashier At JCPenney I developed a lot more customer service skills, and better communication skills. I also had to memorize where the different appliances were located, and also be able to guide customers in the right direction for what they needed. If I didn’t know I would get assistance from a coworker so they could help guide them to where they wanted to go.

●If I was opening in the morning as a cashier I had to make sure I had the right amount of money in the drawer from the closer the night before. I then would have to call a M.O.D. (manager of department) to get a roll of change like pennies, nickels, etc. If I was closer for the night, I would then count the change to make sure the right amount was in the drawer. With the extra money I then would count it up, put how many there were of each bill and add it up to get my amount back, then put it into a change bag with my signature on it so they knew who closed what specific drawer just in case it was the wrong amount. Once that was done, I put it into the computer to make sure it got counted up right and then if it was approved I brought it to the M.O.D.

●Working on the sales team I get there either at five, or six, in the morning to put up new prices for all of our merchandise, doing markdowns, or clearance, or unloading a truck delivery that brings us up to about 20+ palettes with clothes, shoes, and accessories. Once the truck is done we usually “push” the next day, meaning we bring out the new merchandise to the floor to be on racks or wherever they need to be placed.

EDUCATION

El Molino High School, Forestville, Ca

AUGUST 2014 - MAY 2018, FORESTVILLE

Started and finished school here at El Molino, played three sports all four of my years, keeping my GPA well above a 2.0, and also being injured every year in each sport. I was in wood shop freshman year and in yearbook sophomore year and was a T.A. sophomore, junior, and senior year.

Santa Rosa Junior College, Santa Rosa, Ca - Kinesiology

OCTOBER 2018 - JUNE 2019

I started off taking a career course class last semester trying to figure out what route I really wanted to go as a career. This class we took a couple of personality tests, setting up broad outlooks of careers based on what we enjoyed doing as hobbies, or based on what you find the most enjoyable for you as what you’d like to go into or be most interested in. Now this semester I am taking intro to kinesiology, the study of movement. My top three goals are to become a personal trainer, dietician/ nutritionist, or maybe going into sports medicine.

AWARDS

I’ve earned quite a bit of awards in middle school, but the ones most important to me were the ones in high school. I got a lot of M.V.P awards, heart of the lion (lots of spirit on the team/ a leader), and the award that meant the most to me was the Iron Lion. The Iron Lion was for playing three sports all four of my years. I learned about that award when my brother attended El Molino and when I heard about that I knew I had to get that same one he did. I was fully committed and determined to get that award after my last season, and last year being there. I, and a fellow teammate were recognized as the only two female athletes who received this award, and also being honor scholars having a G.P.A of 3.8 for me and my teammate having a 4.0.
