2007 - 2012 - I left in 99 to work for Vista Packaging. I was asked by the Shorewood management team to come back after being gone for several years and I accepted their offer. Duties: Operate and perform make-ready Bobst high speed die cutting press (102ER, 102CER, 130 ER, 142 CER and SPANDTHERA with cube) at required production speeds while controlling quality, waste, safety and good housekeeping standards. Monitored production schedules and quality. Performed preventative maintenance. Operated EZ Press which requires job set-up for standard die cutting presses. Sent to Shorewood Mexico plant as part of a three person team (2011) to improve production and train die cuter personnel. Organized die cutting presses and supervised personnel to improve efficiency, productivity and safety. Mexico plant experienced a 30% increase in productivity and safety. Team member for development and introduction of Kaizen methods to improve make-ready process.
