After graduating from William B. Davis Center for Acting Studies & learning of my Green Card Lottery opportunity, I wanted to reenter the sport industry. At Empower I was able to plan, coach, lead, and organize training sessions, coach young athletes and plan workouts, camps, fitness sessions and be a part of the team, selling our product of Empower to young athletes all over the Vancouver Area.

I established KevinMenkhorst Entertainment with the goal to develop a career in the dynamic and international entertainment industry. After developing a strong proposition, I developed marketing tools to promote my capabilities to a network of agencies in the film, advertising and modeling industry. This resulted in exciting assignments, including several nationally televised ads, ads on social media, modeling work and international movies. As well as coaching and training opportunities.

CBDeu, Netherlands — Account Manager/Supply Chain

I joined CBDeu, an E-commerce start-up company, as Account Manager. My responsibilities included business development (identifying and contracting new sales channels), account management (developing and maintaining/growing relationships with key accounts), and product management (informing/educating the general public and target audience on product contents and characteristics).

Furthermore I supported the company's supply chain team to ensure requested products and services were delivered in line with confirmed deadlines.

As a result of Covid-19, CDBeu owners decided to stop servicing the Dutch market in December 2020 and closed the local company. SKILLS

Eswelt is a mediator in the world of Enterprise Systems. As a mediator, Eswelt focuses specifically on recruitment in the field of ERP and CRM specialists. With this we focus on a clearly defined niche market. They call this philosophy "know more, know less," I was responsible for the mediation of interim SAP specialists.

I worked here as a SAP Consultant, I mediated SAP Specialists in respective positions that matched their profiles. Furthermore, I have spoken with several SAP Specialists and have had meetings with them in person to deepen myself in the profession. I was also responsible for reaching out to new candidates as well as companies to partner with.

O3 Fitness, Netherlands — Fitness Manager

Upon return from the USA, I joined O3 Fitness as a Manager for one of their smaller fitness clubs. In this role I held direct responsibility for the day-to-day management of the club, was responsible for account development and retention, and provided guidance/coaching to the 2 fitness trainers that worked in the club.

After completing my BSc Sport Management, I relocated to Los Angeles to work as a Fitness Trainer for the high end fitness chain Equinox. As a Fitness Trainer, I was responsible to train/coach existing clients and to develop/grow new clients. My (OPT) working visa expired in February of 2019. I relocated back to The Netherlands.

As a result of the business successes I achieved with my own Entertainment company, I decided to further my skills in and for the entertainment industry with a focus on Acting Studies. After completing my initial two years at Mohawk Valley Community College, I transferred to the University of Tampa. I participated in a number of extracurricular activities, including Men's Basketball Team Manager, International student organization, and intramural sports, among others.

PROJECTS

BleacherReport Partnership Program — Eredivisie CV. During the 6 month, full time internship (2017) for the University of Tampa. I worked in a Marketing role at the Dutch Soccer League Headquarters - Eredivisie CV - Netherlands. During my time here I took it upon myself to initiate, contact, spearhead and develop a partnership with BleacherReport and the Eredivisie. This had never been attempted before. My conclusion to this project came in late 2017. To this day, that partnership is still blossoming and I still have regular contact with the CEO who gave me great praise for this project.
