FABRICATOR/FITTER/WELDER POWERTHERM MAXIM SEPT 2017 – FEB 2023

· Adjust welding machine wire and settings for the welding process required for each project.

· Locate and move materials for each project using forklifts and overhead cranes.

· Cut and fabricate some components for each project.

· Fabricate, fit, weld materials per blueprints.

· Clean welds, inspect welds, make sure measurements are correct per blueprints.

· Help new employees understand and read blueprints.

· Help new employees fix any bad welds or incorrect measurements. SUPERVISOR/PROJECT MANAGER/WELDER QUALA MARCH 2016 - PRESENT

· Gather crew and equipment.

· Determine what equipment will be needed for an assignment/projects.

· Assign necessary staff for projects.

· When arriving onsite get with contact that is overseeing the project to determine what will be the safest and most efficient way to complete tasks.

· Monitor crew to make sure everyone is doing their assignment and following safety protocol.

· Make new fittings and repair fittings on vacuum box.

· Use plasma and acetylene torch to cut templates to mount air motors on spray units.

· Clean interiors of boilers, storage tanks and industrial processing tanks in order to remove chemical waste performing the following essential duties.

· Drain tank, connect hose to water or steam lines and spray walls, roof and bottom of tank to flush through tank openings.

· Scrape and scrub walls to remove scale or deposits.

· Sweep up debris, shovel sludge into buckets and remove from tanks.

· Remove chemical residue and other liquids from tank bottoms with diaphragm pump or vacuum truck. Education & Certifications
