Career Profile

I am an experienced RN with16 years of clinical experience and 10 years of leadership experience. I have worked for 16 years in various departments including ICU, ER, Tele and medical surgical unit and 10 years of on hematology oncology experience. . I have held the charge nurse/leadership role through most my career. My experience, knowledge and leadership skills led me to an Assistant Nurse Manager in ATC since 2016. As a member of leadership team, I assisting the unit run safely and within the budget, lead and participate in unit and institutional PACTs, coordinate patient care and scheduling along with medical and multidisciplinary teams.

Strong leadership qualities with strong communication skills: I strongly believe, am a born leader with great customer service skills and communication skills. I pay close attention to detail and dutiful respect for complaints in all aspects and communicate openly to members of the health team.

Assistant Nurse Manager in ATC from Sept 2016 – current

Able to participate, guide and lead the project of initiating outpatient SCT/Car T infusion in the Ambulatory treatment center and starting and managing separate cellular section of ATC .

1.Empower, lead and guide staff and conflict resolution

2.Patient scheduling, SDA and staff scheduling

3.Assist in providing leadership to support the vision of the unit and transform unit values and behaviors to meet the demands of the current and future.

4.Participates in the implementation and monitoring of the unit budget to respond in a cost-effective manner to changing patient, staff and inter-professional team requirements

Assists the delivery of unit staffing plan considering skill mix, staff and patient care requirements.

5.Ensures daily staffing plans and patient care assignments are appropriate to provide quality care and support an environment where staff practice with autonomy
