Operating AWS (Amazon Web Services) platform to call cases and contacts directly to conduct interviews as well as receive calls, respectfully and confidentially Investigating cases assigned by the Vineland Health Department and also cases received from intake of incoming calls, from all of Cumberland County, of patients diagnosed with Covid-19, then performing Contact Tracing- investigating close contacts/cases living in household as well as close contacts/cases outside of household. This is to help stop the spread of Covid-19 by conducting these telephonic investigations and relaying CDC guidelines for Isolation and Quarantine. Duties also include, but not limited to, handling of sensitive information, abiding HIPPA laws, following CDC guidelines, using CommCare HQ computer software system to enter information in case and contact files, creating extensive notes in each file, confirming identification before informing/confirming positive test result and beginning investigation, locating source of infection, identifying signs and symptoms, collecting personal data including health information, assessing and identifying a contact as person under investigation (PUI) -someone believed to actually be a positive case without a positive test result yet, identifying break through cases (becoming a positive case after being fully vaccinated), discovering outbreaks and clusters to report to health department, offering social support to those in need of, answering questions and addressing concerns, providing information on Covid-19, testing and vaccines, connecting cases and contacts needing Social Services, making vaccination appointments for individuals in need of, conducting monitoring and follow up on each individual, conducting telephone and email correspondence with LHDs in NJ and out of state, epidemiologists, health officers, nurses, schools, nursing and group homes, businesses (owners and employers), technical support, team members and supervisors, etc., attending and participating in 2 to 4 weekly meetings on Microsoft Teams, Webex and Zoom platforms, working on "Group Homes" Committee- (conducting and presenting research, working on state projects), working on Vaccination Committee reaching out businesses to schedule clinics for employees, daily/weekly completion of state and LHD approved trainings for continued education specializing in public health in a timely manner, earning certificates.
