Organizing and leading teams of construction workers during large-scale restoration projects
Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget
Conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify areas where repairs are needed
Coordinating with insurance adjusters to determine how much a claim is worth and developing a plan to repair damaged property
Creating a plan for restoration services that outlines the process for assessing damages and creating a repair estimate
Estimating the cost of materials, labor, and other supplies needed for repairs
Managing teams of contractors and subcontractors to complete projects within deadlines. Manage a team of restoration technicians, carpenters, painters, and other skilled workers, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure quality control
Preparing bids, obtaining bids from contractors, and overseeing the bidding process
Managing the insurance claims process by providing information about damages to adjusters and answering questions about the claim process
Duties & Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all aspects of the restoration process for assigned projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
Inspect job sites regularly to ensure work is proceeding according to plan and taking appropriate corrective action when necessary
Review project estimates and bids from contractors to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness
Prepare reports for clients documenting the progress of work and outlining any issues or concerns
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them updated on project status and addressing their questions and concerns in a timely manner
Develop and implement health and safety protocols for all job sites
Investigate and resolve complaints from customers or regulatory agencies
Keep abreast of new developments in the restoration industry and incorporate innovative techniques and approaches into projects as appropriate
Stay within allocated budgets for each project and take steps to minimize costs where possible
