Maintenance Supervisor

The maintenance Supervisor is responsible to support the continuing success and improvement of factory operation through day-to-day leadership and coaching of the Skilled Trades group, using Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE)/Total Productivity Management (TPM) tools to achieve the department's objectives

Coordinate the maintenance of plant equipment and services, involving cost control, safety, and product quality

Continuously improve the preventive and predictive maintenance program to reduce downtime and improve overall maintenance costs

Executing improvements to existing manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiencies and waste

Utilizing and incorporating Lean and other project management tools, methodology, and principles

Work with other departments and maintenance personnel to determine the priority of work orders to be completed. Participate in continuous improvement planning for the facility

Evaluate and implement training procedures such as in-house, vendor-sponsored, and training seminars.

Track and manage maintenance department performance metrics such as Preventive Maintenance schedule and work order compliance, downtime, Operational budgets, and work execution time

Direct the day-to-day operations of plant Utilities such as HVAC-R, Boiler, Air Compressors, Water and Power distribution network
