Production Superintendent Koch Foods, Inc. Morton, MS June 2017– Present

·Manages a safe, cost effective, and efficient production.

·Maintains a safe working environment by educating and directing supervisors on the use of equipment and resources; while maintaining compliance with OSHA, company safety rules, GMP’s and HACCP regulations.

·Supervises and provides leadership, coaching, guidance, training and staff development; counsels and disciplines supervisors as necessary; recommend termination when appropriate; and monitor time and attendance of subordinates.

·Debone, 2nd Processing

·Keeps track and communicate daily production goals, process monitoring sheets, product yields, down time and man hours.

·Monitors the training and evaluation of team members on the different jobs performed while on the thigh-deboning production line (approx..50 cutters), ensuring proper cutting techniques are used.

·Daily review and verbal coaching on supervisor performance. Monthly safety walk, safety and HACCP meetings

·Supervised and provided leadership, coaching, guidance, training and staff development; interviews and selects unit employees; planned and evaluated employee performance; recommended merit increases, transfers and promotions; counseled and disciplined employees as necessary; recommended termination when appropriate; and monitored time and attendance of subordinates.

·Supervised and trained a staff of team members on the various jobs within 1st Processing (Live receiving, live hang, picking, evis and salvage).

·Supervised and trained evisceration team members on proper presentation for USDA inspection and how to respond to the various USDA calls on dead carcass (salvaged, condemned, cut-up, etc.).

·Respond to USDA concerns.

·Monitors cost of labor and equipment, dead birds on arrival (DOAs), plant shut down (downtime) and shrinkage.

·Reviews weekly kill schedules.

·Worked with the mechanical department to insure that proper preventative maintenance of the equipment occurs daily and is in good operating standard for production.
