Responsible for performing daily health checks on the NAS (FAS/SolidFire) storage devices (1600 plus) in which the DFM 5.2.5, OCUM/AIQUM 9.8, HCP Pentaho, Hitachi Hi-Track Monitor v.8.9, and EMC Isilon IIQ applications support.

Coordinates directly with BOA Architecture & Engineering, who test and certify stable code levels in the NetApp, HCP Pentaho, Hitachi Hi-Track Monitor, and EMC Isilon environments. Implements code level upgrades and software patches, to remediate security vulnerabilities which pose threats at the server level.

Performs application code upgrades as required in adherence to completion of compliance deliverables mandated by global security.

Provides direct technical support to NAS Storage Operations whether adding C-dot clusters in OCUM for storage monitoring and reporting, removing 7-mode clusters from DFM, or troubleshooting clusters that may not be reporting or being monitored until it’s resolved.

Administers and supports Windows and Linux servers that manage the NAS Storage environment via command line in order to maintain application support.

Collectively maintains all of the previous and current reporting/monitoring within OCUM as well as creating new reports, new alerts/thresholds, and storage monitoring.

Supports and manages the NAS applications as an SME resource to NAS Storage Operations, while maintaining a working relationship as a liaison with Engineering.
