Education
St Mary’s Macroom - 2013-2019
Hankuk University of Foreign Studies - Autumn 2021-Summer 2022 University College Cork (BA World Languages) - 2019-2023 Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to apply for the position as a kindergartner teacher in South Korea. I’ve recently finished my BA World Languages degree. My language major was Korean, which included a year of study in HUFS. In my final year, I studied as an English teacher trainee, and taught classes as part of this. I feel that I am a suitable candidate for this role, and am available to work from August on.
Previous Job Experiences
● Part time jobs in a family hotel as a child where I spent time managing reception, and stocking rooms with essentials.
● Beginner’s coach assistant, and volunteer at C.F.S.A, 2011-2013 and 2017 respectively - I assisted the beginner’s coach by helping new skaters of all ages, though many ranged from ages 5-13, acquiring new skills in the sport. During the World Open that C.F.S.A hosted, I assisted the club with organising figure skaters and coaches from many different countries, as well as audience members who attended.
● Transition year work experience at ‘Lynch’s Bakery’ in Macroom and ‘Vibes and Scribes’ Cork, Autumn 2016 and Spring 2017 respectively during school terms - These two experiences taught me a lot about retail and customer service.
● Work on building site, late June/ early July 2022 - This was just a quick job involving physical labour at a building site.
Current employment
I’ve been working with Fly Coffee at Lapps Quay, Cork city, since August 2022, where I started as a part time barista, and was subsequently promoted to supervisor, and since March have been serving as manager.

About Me
My name is Ciara Georgina Dwyer, though I go by Georgina, and I was born and raised in West Cork in the Republic of Ireland, where I grew up speaking English natively. From a young age, I’ve been entrusted with babysitting, as well as assisting teaching young kids during my time at C.F.S.A. Since starting college, I have studied Korean, and spent an academic year in South Korea, studying at H.U.F.S. in Dongdaemun, where I did both level one and two of their intensive Korean programme. After returning to Ireland, I studied teaching English as a foreign language within my university’s English language centre, which included a semester where I planned and taught six lessons of varying topics. I am due to graduate this Autumn, but have no issue leaving Ireland to work with as soon as August/September.
