I would love to express my interest in this position. I’m multidisciplinary with experience working in Illustration, Graphic Design, Administration, Customer Service and Manual Roles. Seeking to evolve within a unique, active and hands-on position where i can gain valuable knowledge, work within a team and build relationships. After spending time undertaking freelance, fulfilling personal projects and selling artwork. Direct cable systems interests me as being a hands-on, active role where i can gain knowledge and practice about technical equipment. As a detail orientated person i’m fascinated by how things work and learning specifications of components. It would also be interesting to learn aobut the business side and how these are implemented also.

My most detailed experience would be my time at Just Eat - initially a Administration with Data Entry role fixing website menu errors and applying allergen safety information to the Menus requiring a good eye for detail. Typing and designing whole Restaurant menus from the printed menu and dealing with incoming requests for updates through the back end system using the correct coding and language. Customer Service, via Telephone, Email, Face to Face meetings at Restaurants and building up relationships with the Restaurant owners and Departments to be a trusted point of contact. Liaising with the Tech Development teams and frequently set up meetings, leading, organising and reporting projects to improve the system we used. Incorporating tasks and liaising with other Operations Departments, Customer Service, Tech and Graphics Departments on a daily basis. With the Graphics department i reported Logo improvements and relaying Data for further quality control. This led me on to design and fix Restaurant Logos using Photoshop for the Website whilst balancing my other duties for the last 3 years there. Strong teamwork, open mindset and a sense of humour were a requirement of the day to day life here. I’ve extensively used Microsoft Office Package logging data on excel, creating powerpoint presentations. Further used Google Sheets to create presentations for meetings and projects. I’ve trained new starters on menu typing, processes, graphic layouts, logo creation with Photoshop and general Administration/Data Entry duties using back end systems. I also have valuable organisational skills whilst working as a Kitchen Porter which involved cleaning the Kitchen, Utensils, preparing food, delivering Food between Buildings, serving, waste disposal and maintaining machinery. Handling stress levels and balancing multiple tasks daily. Another role was at PDSA, where i would organise the donations, preparation/cleaning of items, researching, pricing and tagging the items. Shop floor duties such as organising the space, till duties and face to face customer service. I’m Mac and Windows literate and can figure out some tech issues effectively, i’m a fast typist, creative writer and talker with effective communication via face to face, telephone or mail. I’m proficient in Adobe Creative Software and have used every program to some degree. I can set up/organise files, operate printing, scanning and cutting equipment effectively. As a creative i’m a conceptual thinker injecting my personality into situations and ideas within my work ethic. I think outside the box aswell as finding ways to explore familarity. I like to play with experiences and be immersed within projects exploring multiple ingredients and building on ideas in a unique way. As a member of Comic Clubs i contributed to and helped organise Anthology and events across Universities, this improved my idea generation as well as collaborating and confidence. I have also helped to set up exhibitions, events, art shows and classes. I follow all areas of design and the arts, have a keen eye and am excited by different Movements, Music, Products, Interiors and Architecture. I enjoy researching and studying subjects to constantly better myself, never shying from new methods and ideas of working.

From these experiences i think i have what it takes to be a valuable member, i’m fun (i like to think), smiley energetic, genuine, honest, team orientated and helpful. I’m attracted to a role being a mixture of hands on, organisational, detail orientated and teamworking in an exciting positive company.
