VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP
A skilled national registered Emergency Medical Technician with licensure in the State of Ohio since 2015.
Volunteer at Christ Hospital in the Emergency Department and Medical Staff Services office from September 2015 to 2016 completing 150 hours. Duties included greeting patients and families, determining their immediate needs and escorting to the appropriate location. This experience required alleviating patient and family fears and stress. Assisted with medical duties as requested and stocking medical supplies. Organized and filed patient charts.
Volunteer in “Lose the Training Wheels” a program, which teaches special, needs children how to ride a 2-wheel bike giving them the pride and esteem of mastering a physical skill and being able to fit in with other children their age. Leaders are assigned one child to establish rapport and trust and eventually helping the child to acquire the necessary balance and skill to ride a bike.
Team Leader in Co-ed recreational soccer for elementary aged children. Taught boys and girls the basic ball skills of soccer and the importance of teamwork.
