As grief a counselor professional I helped people cope with the emotional pain of losing someone or something important to them. I counsel patients in a variety of settings, including one-on-one counseling, family counseling, or group counseling. I provided patients with strategies and guidance designed to overcome grief and move on with life. I actively listen to patients and encourage them to share their thoughts openly in counseling. I refer the client to other services and providers when necessary.
