• Testing soil for construction projects. Making sure soil meets its standards for construction of foundations of homes and buildings. Soils are to be compact to its standard meeting its moisture contents, voids and solids contents and the likes. Search for sink-holes and report such incidents.

• Write reports on a daily basis on what was done and accomplished. Meet with builders and report for unwanted activities such as equipment’s failures for building.

• Sand-cone test of soils consist of collect sand sample from the construction site and test them on site. Soil would be burn off and weight before and after burning to calculate moisture contents. Volumes changes of soils are recorded from the sample to determine the voids and solids of the soil.
