Illinois Licensed Leasing Agent: I am considered an Independent Contractor working for this company. My job is to answer calls and emails, schedule appointments, and show available properties for rent to prospective tenants. I perform inspections on vacant properties and report improvements and repairs needed before renting again; I collect income qualifications, applications, and fees to present to my office for approval. Upon approval, I type the leases, collect rent and supply keys to new tenants. This job has no health or retirement benefits, which is the reason I am looking for other employment.

2013-2018 – Chemtool/Lubrizol Corporation – S Beloit, IL Senior Chemical Operator/Shift Lead Technician: My job was to oversee the production process of my department on my shift. My primary responsibility was to monitor the equipment under my charge, control instruments and make sure they were working properly ; I also scheduled and coordinated maintenance efforts when necessary, including the shutting down or otherwise handling equipment during an emergency. When I first hired on with the company, I was a grease technician, working 30 ft in the air and mixing product. After the first year, I was moved to the lead technician.

I was also responsible for administrative tasks as well, such as recording test results and other data and relaying those to my supervisors.

This business is no longer in operation due to burning down in an accidental fire.

Auto Detailer and Lot Assistant – this was a temporary job for 1 year; worked in the detail department, shipping and receiving, and parts department. Also worked as courier, driving customers home or to work while their cars were being serviced.

Machine Operator and Material Handler – my job was to work with black oxide/steel; anodizing aluminum; chemfilm/sheet metal. Worked in assembly as needed; drove forklift, as needed;

This was a small shop and my first opportunity to work in manufacturing. The owner passed away, business was changing owners.

2002-2008- Sam’s Restaurant and Pizza- Machesney Park, IL

Delivery Person/Phone: Answered phone, took order, assisted customers coming in for pickups, delivered pizzas to customers’ homes and to local schools. I started this job during high school and stayed for 6 years.

I also worked in shipping/receiving at Tekmatic Inc, right out of high school, for 1 year - 2002
