PROFILE

Consultant brain and spine surgeon for over 30 years, had worked in many countries and performed over10,000 major surgeries. I have a great experience in in head trauma management, ICU care and all types of spinal fixations, moreover, I have dealt with most types of congenital neuro-system anomalies and brain tumors with good results. For years I performed academic teaching for medical students in many university-hospitals in different country. I master three different languages, English, French, and Arabic. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

1-Consultant Neurosurgeon, mentor and teacher from March 2015 until FEB, 2023. Homs University, Syria. Then private practice in many hospitals.

2-Consultant neurosurgeon, King Fahad hospital Al Baha KSA from Feb 2010 until Feb2015. KFH is 520 bed with all specialities and training programs for medical students and residents. JCI approved hospital. 3-Consultant neurosurgeon Al Assi hospital Hems from august 2009 till Feb 2010 4-Consultant neurosurgeon Al Mouwasat hospital Dammam Saudi Arabia for 2 years from June 2007 to July 2009. JCI approved hospital.

5-Consultant neurosurgeon in the Royal Commission Hospital, Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, for 5 years from Sep 2001 to September 2006 The royal commission is a 250 bedded, modern referral Hospital it is primarily designated for the delivery of secondary and tertiary care. It deals with all medical and surgical cases and it contains all the modern facilities. I was on call, every second day. I performed all Neurosurgical Procedures in the Hospital. It is 250-300 cases per year. The language of instructions, medical records and patient care is English. The RCMC is a teaching hospital, for medical students, residents, and nurses. I presented many topics about Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Patient’s care in general.
