Development

Created different macro-enabled worksheets to facilitate faster data entry including validation and producing import files for upload to Yardi. Created a macro-enabled worksheet to process credit card disbursements by assigning the correct accounting code for each transaction and generating a summary by property and an import file for uploading to Yardi. Created a macro-enabled worksheet to convert emailed transactions from HD Supply and assign the correct accounting code and summarize by property code and generate an import file to Yardi for check preparation. Created a macro-enabled worksheet for use by the Accounts Receivable department in order to process report generated from Yardi and create a customized report that shows property and units that are delinquent per property manager.

Hardware Inventory

The company have a lot of personal computers and servers that have not been inventoried and documented. Created an inventory list and documentation of all hardware and peripherals in the company, which includes testing and/or repair to determine usability and disposal. Used Excel and MS Access.

Website Maintenance and Management

There are three (3) separate businesses under the company and each business has its own website. Two of the websites have their own ordering module and product database. I managed the product images and price updates for these websites, using WordPress, EFI Direct Marketing and Taopix.

ERP Adminstration

Administered the company’s ERP for Printing Press. Managed user creation, access and query reports, software updates. Maintained the company’s product costing and link to the online ordering system (EFI). Managed online customers and built custom landing pages for new customers and their authorized users for each company.

Product Design and Management

Created and managed different customer products, based on customer requirements/files to provide on-demand and online ordering in their respective landing pages. Used EFI Direct Marketing software to design the ordering page and provide link to the company ERP (ePace) for processing online orders to the production queue.

Network and Server Management

Setting up client startup website

Provided different options on the technical aspects of the client’s website. Created initial website startup and implementation plan for client. Used online website developer, as client intended to manage and maintain their website. Client implemented a social media campaign that I developed and used the assets I provided for them.

Data pivots and reporting

The client is a company that provides media buys to different entertainment networks. Created a macro tool for them to automatically generate pivot tables and report format from exported data from their legacy system and importing to Excel. I created a landing template that provides filtering and reporting based on customer media buys per program and updates a dashboard to show KPIs and other performance metrics. Created macros and Pivot tables in Excel.

Excel Training Course

Conducted MS Excel Classes for client’s accounting staff. Created a lesson plan based on the goal of the department and expectation from their accounting staff. Performed knowledge assessment of each individual and created the appropriate level of training based on their skills. The goal of the training was to put the accounting department’s Excel knowledge at an expected level to achieve the department's goal.

Network re-cabling and mapping

Client fired their IT guy and needed access to their network, after it crashed. Performed network diagnostics and determined cause of failure is from a network switch. Discovered also that the cabling layout needs to be re-tested and mapped, as there was no existing documentation.
