Experience
LEAD TEACHER KINDERLAND PRESCHOOL AND DAYCARE JULY 2015-APRIL 2016
· While at Kinderland, I was responsible for many areas. I would occasionally give tours, manage staff, contact parents and create curriculum. I was proficient at writing reports for injured children and communicated with parents by phone and face-to-face. There were light cleaning duties: dishes, mopping, sanitizing toys, sweeping and cleaning tables. I worked very closely to use my knowledge of Quality First and implement the settings required according to QF regulations, as well as, my director’s expectations. I resigned from this position to pursue further employment with a company that encourages wholesome values and room for growth. LEAD TEACHER CACTUS KIDS MARCH 2014-JULY 2015
· My time at Cactus was spent mainly as a Lead Teacher, when I initially was hired I was to be an aide. Quickly, I was moved up to hold my own classroom. I was responsible for creating my own curriculum, with the help of a sample packet of ideas. I also taught the children manners, responsibility and accountability. I encouraged independence while following the Quality First “Learn through Play” method. I kept my room tidy, occasionally helping floaters mops, sweep or vacuum. I decided to resign from this position due to the change in quality of the center while they replaced directors’ and staff.
