Design and Build of Al Khor Expressway project which is entered “Guinness World Records” for longest piece of Asphalt concrete laid continuously (25.275km) & Longest continuous Cycling path

The Project comprises design and construction of an expressway to the north of Doha with 12no. separated junc. subject to further optimization to replace four level stack interchange. Expressway have 5 traffic lanes in each direction. The carriageways shall be divided by a central median which includes provision for the future Qatar Rail Metro Red Line. A network of service roads is required adjacent to the main alignment which connects the upgrade to existing and future developments. A shared pedestrian/cycle way shall be constructed along the length of one side of the expressway in addition to a separate fast cycle track adjacent to the service roads on the side of the expressway. The Works include provisional Landscape, Hardscape and also. The new roads will be expanded to two & three lanes in each direction instead of one which will increase the roads capacity to 8000 vehicle/hour and contribute to reducing travel time between these areas & Al Khor Road. Al Shamal Road Service enhancement Works is an important road enhancement project which is the part of the Expressway in Qatar.
