I’m currently self-employed and recently completed an assignment with the WAA Airport Site Redevelopment Project. The project was a $500 million-dollar initiative by the Winnipeg Airports Authority

(WAA) for the development of a new Terminal Building and supporting systems. In this role, I had responsible for managing and controlling all aspects of AIS. I managed a portfolio of over $20 million dollars for implementation of the Airport Systems I also managed the Airport System interfaces to: Baggage Handling for baggage sortation, Nav Canada for Aircraft movement information, and SITA for bag message processing. As well, I managed the interface to the Carrier’s Departure Control Systems. As part of my responsibilities, I also worked with Airport Agencies such as CATSA, CBSA, and USCBP to assist in their system implementation and interface to AIS. The project also required that I manage numerous contractors. As a result, I’ve had a good share of experience managing contractors. During all phases of this large project 3 year project, I provided leadership to support the Winnipeg Airports Authority business objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner. I’m a self-directed person with and extensive background and good problem-solving skills. I’m known as a team player and a good communicator. Having worked in a large organization and having been exposed to many projects and methodologies provides me with a good background to meet your challenges. Coordinated installation of two Computer Room facilities in the new Airport Terminal Building to house Airport Information Systems and supporting network, telephony, and Security systems.
