SKILLS

Charge and floor Nurse. Can perform nursing tasks from admission to discharge. Collect vital signs and recognize changes in patients’ condition. Receive postoperative patients from post anesthesia unit and perform all care until discharge. Wound and surgical incisional care. Insert NGT, IV’s (infusions include: Chemo, antibiotics, antcoagulant, antihypertensives, IGG, blood and plasma, vitamins, and more). Foley Cath, and rectal tube care. Use of Mediports, CVP’s, PICC lines. Feeding tubes, and use feed and IV and medication machines. Can draw blood, collect lab samples (including POC blood sugar). Can safely distribute medications via all routes. Work with all diciplins for appropriate patien care outcomes.
