PROFILE:
I am a Trained Teacher who specializes in assisting students with severe reading difficulties. During my nine years teaching, I gained significant experience by working with students in an inner city community. My role included the designing and implementing of teaching strategies to improve learning outcomes of students. My interpersonal skills benefited my employers in resolving parent/child and parent/teacher conflicts in the school setting; as well as improving parental involvement in students’ lives, to improve educational outcomes. I am able to work on my own initiative or as part of a team, and can deal with administrative and classroom management problems competently.
