Key Responsibilities: As the Visitor Control Manager at AEDC White Oak, my key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following roles/tasks:

Provides general administrative and financial management support to Site Director, as well as site staff members.

Responsible for timecard and leave documentation, maintenance, and corrections for entire site.

Provides meeting and conference support to entire site.

Provides support for travel (TDY) accommodations & documentation.

Maintains site filing systems, policies, and procedures.

Manages purchase requests and procurement for site supplies, tools, equipment, furniture, etc. with Government Purchase Card.

Manages Visitor Control office, as well as all visitors/deliveries/etc.

Manages multiple Outlook calendars for staff.

Unit Training Manager for staff. Responsible for updating/maintaining training records, submitting/processing training requests.

Serves as backup Security Manager for staff/site.

Serves as Access Control – responsible for granting access privileges to authorized visitors/staff members using badging systems.

Provides physical protection of sensitive or classified information to ensure the protection of personnel facilities or other sensitive materials.

Ensures validity of security badges by visual recognition (i.e., numbering sequence, expiration date, and signature of issuing authority).

Maintains records/access badges according to proper DoD instruction/guidelines.

Identifies any security issues concerning badging, access and emergency situations.

Develop and process Group Visitor documentation and passes.
