My name is Stephen Behee, and I would like to be considered for the positions of computer support specialist, desktop computer support, network computer Support, or I.T. Support Analyst. Information Technology is my passion. Helping people has also been something I am passionate about. During my time in the U.S. Airforce I was able to serve my country while helping others as a firefighter. Since that time I've managed to combine helping others and I.T. into one. I love the challenge of solving problems. Every day is a new day and a new set of challenging circumstances. I strive for the day when nothing is broken and needs my attention. But the very complexity of computers, phones, radios, and other embedded electronics that keep our lives running and constantly connected assures that I will be in business forever. This also means that I must continuously learn every new software, hardware, and network technology as it becomes main stream. Fortunately I love to study, research, and learn new things. I’m a lifelong learner. This makes me a bargain to my employers or customers, even though it can give me more than a few headaches. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love my job, so what I do is really not work to me. If I have to work overtime, weekends or holidays, this is not a problem. When the customer calls, I pack up my equipment, grab something to eat and drink, and I’m on my way. Everybody has something to teach you if you remain open to the teaching moment. I don’t know everything. Far from it. I look at life as an opportunity to learn and grow. As soon as we stop learning, we begin to die. This is part of the reason I.T. is such a great subject to study. When somebody hires me to solve their problems they don’t just get me with my 33 years of experiences. They also get my world wide network of professionals who discuss and call upon each other as an ad hoc knowledge base. I don’t need to know everything. I just have to know the person who has the answer to my current problem.
