· Managed EPC contracts from inception to completion including: road construction, large tank building, railroad, rail loading station, tanker truck unloading station, buildings, pipe racks, pipelines and pipeline blending, pumps, filters, heat exchangers, compressors, valves, boilers, heat trace electric and steam, condensate collection, complex process equipment, 4 new Motor Control Centers (MCC) with medium and low voltage loads and over 10,000 instruments, analyzer loops, controls and programming, MCC’s all required primary and utility transformers, wiring, PLC/DCS controls, fiber networks and security cameras with fiber communications and controls to respective control rooms.

· Managed the full project life cycle of several projects in the Western region of the United States to increase capacity or efficiency of cryogenic plants.

· Calculated cost reduction benefits of projects, and if approved executed projects varying in value from $10K to $4 Million.

· Projects included replacing a CO2 DOT regulated pipeline, installing centrifugal compressors, truck scales, cooling towers, analyzer buildings, pumps, motors, piping, PLC’s, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, chillers, and many other small projects. · Increased production of export product of the plant by 30%, resulting in significant increase in revenue by engineering and executing small projects that resulted in a 6- month simple payback.

· Exceeded a greater than 98.5% contracted on-stream rate to the pipeline client (Western Refining).

· Increased reliability and production of the one-man plant by operating, maintaining and repairing compressors, turbines, distillation columns, pumps, valves, analyzers, instrumentation, electrical gear, cooling towers and associated chemicals and performing vibration analysis, oil analysis, instrument calibration, analyzer calibration as well as other preventative and maintenance activities.

Flint Hills Resources, Junction City, WI 2000 – 2003 Project Manager / Petroleum Pipeline Terminal Operations Technician

· Project Manager for tank inspections and rebuilds, vessel inspection and repair, pipeline repair involving the use of stopple of lines, etc.

· PSM Program Manager – established the initial PSM program and compliance thereof for Flint Hills Resources. In doing so, P&ID’s were developed from existing block diagrams.
