Lead operator at the Wastewater Plant for the City Of Quincy FL.

I oversee the day to day operations of a 1 MGD Wastewater Plant. Duties include ordering CL2, Bisulfite, Ferric and any other chemicals needed in the process control. I oversee the lab and the day to day testing as well as monthy and quarterly sampling protocol.

I go over the paperwork both daily and monthly to insure proper data is collected and documented so it can be reported on the monthly MOR's to the state DEP and EPA departments.

I also do other jobs as they become needed like checking lift stations and repair and maintenance on the pumps and service lines,

I was the wastewater plant operator for the Good Samaritan Village, Again, I was asked to come back here and take over the plant after the termination of the former operator. I worked the day shift covering the day to day operations of the plant. I did all of the general operational work as well as the lab work and sample collecting. I was also responsible for the removal of wastewater sludge which is done by me driving a taker truck to and from the drop off sites. This consists of about 6500 gallons per load in a Baffled tanker trailer.

This plant has a new ploymer dewatering system for handling solids and is a reuse generating plant with a storage tank of 3 million gallons, We supply all of the reuse for the residents as well as the golf course. They have three reject ponds with a total storage of 10 million gallons. I also took care of all the lift stations on the property.

I was was an operator with Severn Trent again because I was asked to come back and help out with the SBR plant that I used to work at. The were having some construction, computer and alarm issues. I did the day to day operations and worked with the contractors on fixing the problems before the City of Kissimmee took over ownership. I was also one of the two Tanker drivers that removed residuals from the 4 plants we had in the area and took them to the processing facilities.

I worked for B.O.C.C. as an operator at two different plants on Hwy 27 in Osceola and Polk Counties, The main plant is the new Northeast plant, with a capacity of 3 million gallons a day now and expanding to 13 million this year. I did the normal day to day work at the plant as well as the needed lab work. We also ran a sludge thickener, using a polymer to dewater the sludge and prepare it for transport in the tanker. We also monitored the lift stations up and down Hwy 27 from that plant via Scada and computer data.

The second plant is a Hwy 192 and Hwy 27. It is the Polo Park plant and is a 500 thousand gallon a day McNeal plant with 6 air bays using surface aerators instead of blowers. There a four square clarifiers and two small contact chambers. I did the 6 hours there during the day, taking care of all the necessary daily plant sludge hauling also.

I was a wastewater plant operator on 2nd shift for Good Samaritan. I worked the night shift as as second job, covering time requirements of the plant as a part time job. I did all the general operational work as well as the lab work. I also drove the sludge truck to get rid of the sludge residuals.

I worked in the field of water and wastewater treatment operations. I was responsible for the operation of 2 half million gallon a day plants. Record keeping and lab testing is part of the operations of that plant as well as the upkeep of the grounds and equipment.

I was also the tractor-trailor tanker driver for this company, starting in 1995. I ran loads from the plants to the drop off sites. I was responsible for the up keep on the truck as well as arranging mechanical work to be done on it.

While working for this company I was their Safety Coordinator for three years. I was responsible for the safety training of all 30 employees. I scheduled all safety meetings and put together the course outline. While serving as this capacity my division won 1st place in the statewide competition of safety teams throughout the state.
