As the Senior Security Analyst. I provided guidance for corporate policy. As a member of our SOX compliance team, I created policies and procedures. Optimized McAfee E-policy Server and agent Infrastructure. I decreased Non-Compliant machines from 40% to less than 0.03% in an 1800 computer environment.

I Acted as a Contract Supervisor for a few desktop roll out projects I selected the 3rd party supplier and Screened and hired candidates. When the contractors were hired trained and supervised the contractors on the procedures and internal applications.

Lead for the Identification, containment, and eradication of viruses. Created feedback to IT operations teams for areas of improvement. Changes made resulted in a reduction from 3-4 weekly virus outbreaks affecting 100+ computers to 18 months with no Virus outbreaks larger than 3 computers.

Acting as a Desktop Support analyst I had a Support ratio of 125 users per Support Analyst. I did support for end users with setup and problem solving of Visual Studio configuration issues. Contributed to projects including SUS, and McAfee E-Policy. Supported several Business Applications Oracle Scopus and Interactive Intelligence ACD.

ABB Western Region Support 04-2000 - 10-2001

Supported servers for 6 offices From B.C. to Manitoba reporting to a manager for Western Canada. Managed Servers running Microsoft Windows NT4 Server and Lotus Domino Server Managed the migration of 3 sites to Windows 2000 AD.

I lead a team of 8 people upgrading computer hardware and software in preparation for Y2K.I was responsible for planning and scheduling the 125-machine deployment. I also developed and documented procedures and scripts for the contractors to use while deploying computers.
