Born and raised in Hilo. Work 24 hours/week as RN at HMC past 18 years. Assist RCM per diem for fun with children in DOE schools since 2021. Covid really put work-life balance in perspective for me along with health. Because we couldn’t travel and demands of nursing hours at hospital we picked up a hobby/hunting. We have been to Lanai several times to hunt lottery and private as we fell in love with the simple way of life. I became aware that Lanai residents need to travel to Maui for health care. I am looking for a rewarding job at this point in my career that expands all age levels.
