Selected Responsibilities

●Design and implement integrated safety training and written programs in ergonomics, electrical safety, lock out/ tag out, machine guarding, noise abatement, confined space entry, job safety analyses, workers compensation, accident investigation, and hazard communication.

●Implement product safety programs including product marking, labeling, SDS and IMDS to demonstrate compliance with OSHA, WHMIS, California Proposition 65, FHSA, SARA313, AWS, CWB, ANSI, NEMA and European Union requirements (ELV, WEE, RoHS, and REACH).

●Design and implement environmental programs, including ISO14001 Certification, Title V air permitting, wastewater pretreatment, solid and hazardous waste management, storm water pollution prevention, oil pollution control, flammable liquids management, hazardous materials transportation, and asbestos abatement.

●Manage Title V air permitting requirements by eliminating unnecessary permit burdens, implementing closed-loop pollution control systems, identifying alternate materials that reduce hazardous air emissions, and pursuing permits for processes previously overlooked.

●Manage contaminated property issues such as subsurface investigations, CERCLA Section 104(e), PRP negotiations, preliminary VAP negotiations, MADEP PCB remediation, Chlorinated solvent groundwater investigations and remediation.

●Design and implement comprehensive management systems that demonstrate compliance with Federal and State Environmental Laws and Regulations including the CWA (NPDES), CAA (Including Title V), DOT, RCRA, Superfund and TSCA.
