Cover Letter

I am applying for this position because I have worked diligently and energetically, and with innovation and distinction.

I ran the Accounts Payable office at the Hahnemann Hospital in Brighton, MA. During my employment of nearly five years there, I restored the office to full functionality. Many accounts were in utter disarray and the vendors had no confidence in the institution, often threatening cessation of business and legal sanctions. I regained the faith and trust of every supplier, placing their accounts on payment schedules to which I adhered rigidly and consistently.

At Adcare, I processed clients quickly upon their arrival from treatment and correctional facilities, verifying insurance coverage and running recovery groups as well as taking urine samples from clients. I also attended monthly meetings at the main facility in Worcester.

At Dana Farber, I was able to arrange oncology for a South African patient. It took the better part of a day while I was helping other patients, but we succeeded in the end.

I am sure that I have the qualifications for this position and look forward to taking on the challenge. I am excited about this opportunity and I thank you for giving me the chance to prove myself.
