BREAD FINANCIAL – Columbus, OH 08/2021 to 11/2022

Director of Technology Delivery

In coordination with C-suite and VP-level leadership, scope and deliver strategic B2B SaaS initiatives that support transformation of a financial services company. Facilitated weekly steering committee meetings to advance these goals company-wide.

Created structure and championed Lean mindset across the enterprise by building the company’s first repeatable processes and templates for each program and project management phase. This included schedules, budgets, communications and activity tracking - significantly increasing efficiency and transforming daily program and project management work.

Orchestrated two Agile programs (from requirements through delivery) that customized Bread’s SaaS buy now, pay later (BNPL) services to meet the needs of the company’s largest bank customer, which increased loan volume by 270% YoY.

DUN & BRADSTREET – Short Hills, NJ 01/2016 to 08/2021

Technical Program Director (2020 to 2021) and Senior Project Director (2016 to 2020)

Founded a customer-facing PMO within the customer experience organization for B2B project delivery to D&B’s largest clients. Supervised matrixed, multidisciplinary delivery teams that delivered data oriented, Agile risk and compliance solutions.,

Designed a complete suite of project management lifecycle processes, governance, methodology, standards, and templates for a portfolio of projects, comprising 45+ individual efforts and contracts valued at $27.1 million. integrated PWA and SharePoint to automate intake and prioritization processes as well as create a set of project sites with pre-populated templates.

Took ownership of a multiple, simultaneous project portfolio for D&B’s second-largest financial services client, growing from $24 million to $29+ million in annual revenue. The team produced data mining tools that allowed the client to analyze data on 500M+ companies then target marketing to various tiers of potential and existing vendors (tens of thousands of entities).

Delivered weekly executive dashboards to D&B clients giving stakeholders a sense of program status, activities, and timelines.

Developed and delivered a course of instruction in project management tools and techniques for Agile projects.

INDEPENDENT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT 08/2012 to 12/2015

Advised Fortune 500 companies on strategies for technology transformation, new program or product development, and business value realization. Notable engagements included:

New York Life (05/2014 to 12/2015): Engaged by an SVP to lead optimization strategy for six enterprise data centers. Developed and delivered a $45M, multiyear plan to consolidate six data centers to two. Completed the first consolidation project ($9M budget, 16 months) two months ahead of schedule and $1.1M under budget, resulting in $2.1M annual cost savings against original estimate of $1.5M. At the same time, directed disaster recovery testing and remediation.

PSEG (04/2012 to 04/2014): Directed a $9.7M program to modernize customer-facing mobile technology. Delivered a two-year-old data and analytics project, requiring multiple design iterations and multidisciplinary coordination. Also, implemented company-wide bring your own device (BYOD) capabilities in just 75 days.

KPMG – Montvale, NJ 06/2010 to 06/2012

Associate Director of Solution Center and Project Management Office (PMO)

Established PMO governance, methodology, standards, and reporting for an average of 70 projects per month in a $140M technology portfolio. Mobilized global PMO and technical teams through all phases of project delivery. Served as chief of staff to the PMO VP, which included oversight of portfolio managers and dozens of project managers.

Achieved 97% approval rate on 60+ project charters and business cases submitted for C level approval. Represented the solution center in presenting project proposals to the executive leadership team.

Delivered private cloud project offering SaaS and PaaS (software and platform as a service) capabilities.

Saved 1,200 hours per month in development time by improving Agile practices in the SDLC. Defined business case for SDLC process improvement program, achieved executive approval and buy-in, and successfully executed the changes.

Increased website visitors to 2.2M+ per month by implementing application functional changes.

K HOVNANIAN COMPANIES, Director of Homeowner Service Applications – Completed 39 integration and technology innovation projects, merging processes from 29 operating units, 29 operating units resulting in a single set of applications and business processes that saved $2.4M per division yearly.

ADP, Senior Director of HR and Payroll Systems – Played an instrumental role in delivery of a new product driving rapid growth in B2B clients (from 700 to 15,000), culminating in $35M in annual sales and $50M in annual revenue.
