NECA Student Chapter at Penn State University Park, PA

Secretary and Project Engineer May. 2020-May 2021

Part of the Penn State student chapter NECA where I learned about the different projects available. Managed regular communications with members as a secretary.

Proposed and submitted a project about a new style of dormitory housing for students that solely relies upon solar energy and energy saving electrical systems tailored to producing more power for lower costs to the ECIC competition and won the award for “best estimating”.

Research on Waste Collection in Dubai Dubai, UAE

Waste Management in Dubai, UAE Jan. 2018-May. 2018

Researched on the waste collection and disposal in Dubai by interviewing a government official and networking with employees.

Documented and reported the water purification process by which pipelines from residences are connected as well as the technology and vehicles involved in transporting waste, catalysts, and energy for the system.

Green Building, and Detailed Interior Analysis and Design. Jan. 2020-May. 2020 Submitted our proposal for the Electrical Contracting Innovation Challenge as a member of the Power Team and a member of the Lighting team in summer 2021. Won the award for “best estimating” as for the project proposal of Net Zero Energy.

Alternative Energy Solutions Sep. 2020-Dec. 2020

Presented our project in the Annual International Switch Energy Competition which needed frequent technical communication with my team about the proposed system to be set in place as well as how the government chooses their next to step toward alternative energy sources.

Designed and proposed an LNG and Solar power system to be configured and implemented at set periods of time to reduce coal consumption in Haiti as well as increase the quality of life for the citizens.
