• Encouraging continuous improvement through budgeting and reporting of the key operational aspects to senior manager and providing specialist direction on unusual or difficult engineering issues.
• Estimation and Preparation of the BOQ with reference to drawings and specifications for the clear Identification of tender particulars
• Preparing the Scope of works for the individual trade packages by collating the relevant information from the specifications, drawings and other associated documents of the Main Contract, followed with finalization of draft scope with the inclusion of the relevant amendments, as received through the site and design team reviews.
• Preparing the Complete set of tender documents,
comprises of Draft scope, General conditions Main contract schedules, draft agreement including project details, construction programme, specifications, drawings and BOQ & Submission of tenders
• Liaising with client representatives, other professionals within design teams and contractors representatives during construction
• Carrying out site visits and surveys, Monitoring and inspecting the work of sub contractors and other third parties
• Ordering machinery and materials & supporting any procurement processes
Ensuring that all engineering activities are correctly budgeted and the complete design is delivered for the agreed budget.
Complete duties such as doing paperwork, coordinating subcontractors, processing invoices, maintaining databases, collecting expense data, recruiting and training employees, and stocking office with supplies.
