I am a highly-motivated individual who is keen to demonstrate skills and knowledge garnered from more than 30 years of work history. Personally, I feel that I am a positive, adaptable, and accommodating individual who can interact and work with people of diverse cultural, ethical, and religious beliefs. My aim is to succeed in all my challenges and contribute whatever I can to the field of education from my life-long experience.
Having taught levels ranging from the under-graduate to the primary, I consider myself versatile and suitably experienced to execute any academic / administrative assignment.
In my teaching career as Primary Class Teacher and Teacher of English to IGCSE & SAT classes at Manarat Al Riyadh International Schools, I have successfully taught and managed the implementation of both the American and the British streams of education.
During my tenure at Manarat International Schools, I not only conducted Teacher Training Workshops for the Riyadh branch but also for Manarat Al Khobar and Manarat Jeddah. In addition to this, I delivered Teacher Training sessions at Green Hills International School, Jeddah, and Fairfield High Schools, Lahore, Pakistan.
I have written English textbooks for the Punjab Education Foundation, Pakistan, for grades 1 through 10 that have been published by Ferozesons, one of the leading publishers in Pakistan. Textbooks for Grades 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10 were approved by the Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore, for use as English textbooks in the province of Punjab.
At different stages of my career, I have been personally involved in the administrative set-up and running of two different schools in Pakistan. I was the founding member of Fairfield High Schools, Lahore, and Country Camp High School, Multan, for which I wrote the curriculum and lay down the organizational structure. Alhumdulillah, both these schools are functioning very well.
