December 2008 – Till Date with TRANS-CONTINENTAL SHIPPING (MANAMA-BAHRAIN) Job Profile: Manager – Shipping & Freight Forwarding: Managing and supervision of country wide liner operation and freight forwarding division sales & operations activities coupled with Vessel & Crew Handling management. Maintaining customer accounts/relationships, meeting their requirements along with ensuring business development prospects.

Key Projects being handling and handled:

● Handling Customs Clearance & Delivery for entire Sea – FCL and Air local inbound shipments for

- IKEA BAHRAIN on exclusive basis.

● Air / Road / Sea - Containers & Break Bulk Cargo – Handled Direct & Indirect Delivery incl. HL shipments – Inbound & Outbound Customs Clearances & Delivery for client CB&I NASS FABRICATION COMPANY, formerly a.k.a. Shaw Nass Middle East (SNME) and presently taken over by MacDermott.

Job Responsibilities not limited to:

1. In-charge of all Imports and Export Activities (IMPEX) to and from Bahrain for complete Operations and documentation, in the Interest of all our Shippers and Consignees. Coordination with Customs Bahrain Customs and Cargo Handling Agents for import clearances of LCL / FCL / Project HL Shipments and transporters – general & heavy lifts for Ex-works normal containerized and break bulk incl. OOG shipment handling.

2. Managing and supervision of country wide liner operation and freight forwarding though our non-exclusive freight network representation and exclusively for Toll Global Forwarding (Bahrain), KERRY LOGISTICS & PANGEA Network sales & operations activities. 3. Managing and ensuring liner & vessel agency activities aptly on behalf of our NVOCC Lines & MLO (BAHRI – National Carrier of Saudi Arabia) other vessel owners / chartering Principals – Client Servicing with Biz development for NVOCC Export / Import / Cross country Trades, For Vessel Agency - Registering vessel & Coordinating with relevant authorities - Port Control, APM Terminals, PMA (Ports & Maritime Authority) & Coast Guard. Ensuring timely berthing prospects with all documents relating to the vessel and Operation

Turn-around of vessels from Khalifa Bin Salman Port / Mina Salman (Defense Port) after completing the loading

& Discharge Operations coupled with Ship Chandelling provision. 4. Supervising & Controlling Dry / Reefer Container Inspection along with Reefer Container MNR services for our varied MLOs & NVOCCs customers.

5. Ensure to streamline all correspondences from our potential Shippers, our NVOCC principal’s, whom we represent in Bahrain with our office staff involved in Freight Forwarding, Liner operations, Custom Clearance, transportation to enable a quick response and our timely services to them. 6. Arrange fortnightly meetings with all office key staff - Sales / Operations / Accounts Team to review on past performance and discussion / promulgating further ideas & action plans for further growth of the company.

7. In the interest of our Company ensuring all our Shippers / Consignees and Principal’s (Carrier & NVOCC) are satisfied with the services we offer as a 3 PL Company and as their agents. 8. To communicate with the existing clients to get important leads for setting new targets for the sales and marketing team.

9. To Ensure that the Port Operations Team, which includes Tally Clark & Supervisors are working up to the expectation of the Carriers and Customers keeping Port safety in prime consideration due to my previous exposures in port & terminal operations.
