Demand Planner

I Utilize SAP Demand Planning and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to develop a Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) level consensus demand forecasts for products within the Residential & Landscape Contractor (RLC) portfolio.

Collaborate with and Interacted regularly with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Supply Planning and utilize historical order and shipment data, current Point of Sale (POS) trends, field inventory data, promotional activity information to develop the best possible demand plans for new and existing products.

I lead presentations of the division LCE in cross-functional Demand forecast reviews in accordance with the IBP process, including following up on unresolved issues stemming from monthly cycle meetings.

Evaluate and implement solutions and ensure alignment with Marketing & Sales in development of the consensus forecast.

Maintain demand planning files and load SKU-level unconstrained demand forecast into SAP following the Demand meeting and communicate changes to cross-functional partners. Quantify and proactively communicate all significant forecasts changes and gaps to all impacted.

Review forecast metrics (MAPE, BIAS), understand root cause when variability exceeds the norm, and determine best methods to improve forecast accuracy.

Collaborate with Supply Planning and Manufacturing on corresponding planning scenarios and strategies. Communicate and escalate concerns to management to ensure an appropriate supply chain strategy is developed.

Provide Operational Inputs to the Business Planning Process and participate in development of Annual Business Plans.
