opportunity. I enjoy being challenged and thoroughly enjoy working with all kinds of people to help
satisfy their needs and concerns. My entire career spelled “customer service” in many shapes and forms.

February 2012 – January 2015: Millwork Service Manager; Leader Home Centers, Inc. (Five locations in Central MA and Brattleboro, VT) - 2 Years, 11 months
Division has been shut down. My last day was Friday, January 9, 2015.
Started “Customer Service” division in February 2012. From initial inquiry, administration, jobsite consultation, research, purchase orders, installation / repair, job close out. Factory trained Andersen Dealer Service Network Technician. Paid warranty service from many manufacturers and paid non-warranty service by end user.

February 2010 to February 2012: Installed Sales Manager; r.k. Miles, Inc. Building Materials
Administration /coordination of residential and commercial installed sales program (windows, doors, millwork) for Western Massachusetts. From initial customer contact, contract negotiations, permitting, sub-contractor agreements and coordination, through project completion and customer satisfaction sign-off. In the first year of this division for r. k. Miles, I profitably produced 142% of budget at a combined margin of 27% (product sales/cost of installation). 1999 – 2008: Millwork Masters, ltd., Keene, NH
General Manager / Director of Development: Direct reseller of windows, doors, kitchens, millwork. Staff of approx. 30. Oversaw a doubling of sales in my time with the company (10-
12M annual) when I left to start my own business. Developed new sales territories, opened and staffed new branch in Nashua, NH. Started the ‘Installed Sales’ division which grew to be one of the largest Marvin Window and Door installating dealers New England. Architectural support. Primary sales and product trainer for the company.
1995 - 1999: Lamb’s Construction / Disaster Recover Systems, Brattleboro, VT
Project Manager – Major Fire / Water restoration company. Interaction with clients from onset of major disaster through rebuild of structure. Worked with major insurance carriers, their adjusters and independent adjusters to satisfy claims. Very detailed estimating, job cost control, subcontractor coordination as well as own staff.
1992 – 1995: Pella Windows and Doors, Pella, IA / Pella Windows and Doors, Portsmouth, NH
Regional Sales Manager for Pella Retail Division for the Mid-Atlantic States. Six distributors from Bangor, ME to Virginia Beach, VA. Also supported major retailers (Home Depot, Builders Square, Home Quarters, Hechinger’s ) with staff education, store seminars, store set up.
1980 – 1992: Hamshaw Lumber, Inc., Keene, NH
Vice President / General Manager. Grew business from its infancy to a major player in New England marketplace with annual sales of 15M. Did it all from sweep the floors, deliver materials, sales to ultimately manage a staff of 56.
1976 – 1979: Dee Lumber (Subsidiary of U S Homes), Linwood, NJ
Outside sales – major lumber and building materials dealer. Relationship building for repeat business. Annual volume of 40 M. Left for an opportunity in New England.
1972 – 1976: Berwick Lumber & Supply, Berwick, PA
My first venture into the lumber and building materials industry – which would become my life’s work. Grew into branch manager position within 2 years.
