Since I graduated at the end of 2020, I have been a personal caretaker for a sick family member. I have been able to put my skills to use in that I provided aftercare from ophthalmic procedures on both of the patient’s eyes, then I provided wound care after Mohs surgery on the patient's scalp area and finally, I provided in home care through chemotherapy and care after chemotherapy. I was also tasked with homeschooling my daughter through the covid pandemic until a vaccine was made available for a child her age.
