Work Experience
PRODUCT ANALYST - WORKING REMOTELY ZINNIA 11/2020 - PRESENT
I configure product features to support enhancements and bug fixes on Life Insurance products. I design, code, test, and document these changes for migration to the production environment. I create, modify, and execute SQL scripts and update small amounts of code to perform these tasks. I collaborate with a global team to investigate policy issues, research the cause/solution, and test and document the solution to allow for migration to the production environment. My work follows the software development life cycle in accordance with the Agile framework, complete with daily standups and sprint planning. I assist with validation of data and processes for client conversions including the correction of data and configuration discrepancies.

BUSINESS OPERATIONAL ANALYST I - III ZINNIA 5/2017 – 11/2020
I reviewed and approved project requests, solutions, designs, test plans/results, mitigations, and system implementations. I collaborated to update operations documentation, ensuring that all processes were efficient and easy to understand. I participated in project intake, design, and triage meetings for a system of record, ensuring each change worked properly for the Operations teams. I created estimates and accurately billed time across many billable projects. I translated technical build details to operational staff and communicated operational priorities and processes to the technical teams to ensure all requirements were documented and met by every build.
Death Claim Cleanup Project: I designed and implemented procedures for a client’s death claim cleanup involving thousands of claims across several years. I managed 15+ operations associates and trained 30+ global associates on many procedures. I created and maintained many large spreadsheets of financial data, continually improving the project’s throughput through increased applied knowledge of MS Excel. I created and updated calculators and tools in Excel.

ACCOUNT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE I - III ZINNIA 5/2015 – 4/2017
After a client conversion, I was the only representative responsible for death claim processing on a very new system without fully functional written procedures. In this difficult situation I thrived by studying requirements, attending to detail, and establishing and maintaining relationships within all levels of the company and client teams. I was quickly elevated to team lead and subject matter expert. Rather than simply ensure correct payout for claims, as my job description would suggest, I became responsible for training, procedural updates, and connecting with the Delivery organization for system updates.
Manager: Laura Huntington, 785-***-****
CUSTOMER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE GENERAL DYNAMICS IT 9/2014 – 4/2015
I assisted consumers via telephone by politely and professionally answering complex inquiries, making referrals, and escalating issues when required. I followed scripting to provide accurate and timely results that exceeded expectations.
Supervisor: Michael Berry, 785-***-**** x 2797
LEADERSHIP INTERNSHIP HEARTLAND VISIONING & TOPEKA SHAWNEE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY 1/2014 – 5/2014
I worked with Microsoft Excel to enter and present data. I attended meetings, wrote meeting minutes, and interacted with community leaders. I researched community initiatives to update Heartland Visioning’s organization social media. I communicated over phone, through email, and in person to plan an event.
