WORK HISTORY

05/21-Present Sabbatical. Took time off to remodel my home. Coordinated RamJack, flooring installation company, painters, and tile companies.

Sold my home in Moncks Corner in July. I bought a new home and moved to Clio. New house needed work. I found contractors and coordinated installation of a new roof, demolished a room that had mold issues and rebuilt it.

03/20-05/21 Service Sales Representative, Fire & Life Safety America, Sanford, FL Reviewed Inspection Reports for deficiencies, then created quotes for fire alarm and extinguisher repairs in Sales Force. Contacted customers to answer questions, follow up on quotes, and upsell additional services. Created forms to aid in organizing technicians and expediting repairs. Created spreadsheets to expedite estimating quotes. Created Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for performing the work required for the Service Sales Representatives within our office which included detailed instruction on how to use SalesForce to help free up time for Managers. 04/17-12/19 Territory Account Manager Promoted to Sales Manager, Hiller Systems, N Charleston, SC

As a Territory Account Manager, developed sales for fire alarm, clean agent, sprinkler, kitchen hood, paint spray booth systems, fire extinguishers and emergency exit light service, inspections and installations. Created quotes from deficiencies found during inspections within 24 hours. Assisted with permit submittal process and worked with the design department to meet deadlines. Reviewed submittal drawings for incorrect or missing information. Managed monitoring accounts including: generating new sales and sending proposal for new service, making edits of customer accounts, and general maintenance of all accounts. Performed site surveys and helped customers stay code compliant. After six (6) months, the other three (3) Territory Account Managers quit and I was the only salesperson for the next year.

08/15-07/16 Administrative Assistant, Gulf Stream Construction, N Charleston, SC Prepared, emailed, and distributed the following documents for four (4) Project Managers (20+ projects): subcontract agreements (AIA), purchase orders, change orders, transmittals, submittals to engineers/architects, applications for payment, lien waivers, printing/scanning of project plans, PUPS tickets and tracking updates, warranty letters, notice to proceed documents, meeting notes, and all engineering correspondence. Self-trained using ViewPoint Software and AIA programs. Created a filterable/searchable spreadsheet of current projects to track progress and help engineers focus on tasks and follow up on projects. Created a list of subcontractors, vendors, owners to assist in creating subcontracts and other correspondence. Created Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for my position due to high turnaround of Administrative Assistants so new hires would be better trained and could look up how to do things on their own.

As a Project Coordinator, coordinated all documents for large fiber installation project within included 19 main locations and 790 satellite locations across Massachusetts. Communicated with all staff members involved in the project for their input for each project document. Tracked progress of project submittals in Excel which the entire team utilized to keep organized. The spreadsheet was distributed daily and a live version was kept on SharePoint. Reviewed all incoming test reports for completeness, created a PDF for each individual test report, distributed to engineers for review of content, then uploaded all documentation to the client’s SharePoint site. Trained and managed two (2) temporary staff members to aid in test report review. Tracked PTO balances for engineering staff. Coordinated Lunch and Learn presentations for engineering staff. Completed expense reports and made travel arrangements for Senior Vice President (SVP). Assisted the SVP with preparing monthly reports and presentations.

As a Proposal Coordinator, reviewed RFPs for special provisions (licensing, wages, etc.). Discovered our offices in California were working without licensing. Worked with management to create tracking protocol. Prepared agendas, conducted kickoff meetings via conference calls with proposal team, prepared meeting minutes and distributed to team. Created and managed deadlines for technical writing utilizing the responsibility matrix. Distributed completed sections for review and incorporated comments. Edited, formatted, printed, assembled, and sent completed proposal to salesperson or customer. Completed standard sections of the proposal (i.e., management sections, executive summaries, corporate experience, financial information, resumes, project references, current and on- going projects information). Sales Activities

Expanded pre-engineered system sales from $5K/month to $25-35K/month within the first 6 months. Met and exceeded all sales goals (averaged 28% over goal). Estimated and prepared proposals for pre-engineered wet chemical and paint spray booth dry chemical systems. Sold fire extinguisher/hose cabinets, flammable storage cabinets, fire extinguishers, fall protection, first aid, and other safety products. Prepared deficiency letters for repairs of systems and met with customers. According to Ansul, I was the only female in the country selling their systems and due to my efforts my first year at General Fire, we were the only company in the Midwest territory that increased sales during the economic downturn.
