Background/Goals

I am a dedicated and accountable Registered Nurse with a goal of expanding my private duty nursing skills to home visiting nursing skills. I am presently enrolled in an IV certification class that will result in IV certification by July. I have also been reviewing audio/ visual and text modules of an online class called Med Surg Mindset, which is part of the RefreshRN program taught by Katie Kleber, MSN, RN. It is by doing so I attempt to keep myself current with nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and nursing skills. I am open to new experiences and adapting to any technological/ situational changes that may come down the road . Private duty nursing has given me the opportunity to work with patients 1:1 while completing my BSN. Upon completing the program, the pandemic broke out. Then we moved. Now I feel that I am ready to move on and take on a higher patient census. Patient-centered care, safety, and following universal precautions are always at the foundation of my nursing practice. It would be a great honor and pleasure to be able to join Davita.
