VP/Project Manager/Superintendent
AF Construction - Las Vegas, NV
June 1985 to May 2016
I started working construction full time when I was 17 as a laborer and stayed with the same company for 31 years, eventually becoming Project Manager/VP and part owner. Built over 10,000 hotel rooms, 3 high schools and several school renovations, new libraries, tenant improvements, and a major addition to the LV Convention Center. The company was liquidated after one of the partners died in February 2016 and me and the other partner went our separate ways. However, this is what I do best because I started from the lowest position and worked my way to the top. I've been a laborer, framer, roofer, estimator, superintendent, project manager, lead project manager, qualified employee on an A & B license and finally Vice President and part owner. I worked for the same company for 31yrs and I believe it shows my commitment to learning every aspect of my job, and staying loyal to my employer from the beginning to the end. Education
