• Charting of patient's vital signs like: blood pressure, heart beat, temperature, oxygen saturation, weight etc and documenting in their files.

• Planning of patient care activities

• Drug administration like placing intravenous catheters for injection and parenteral rehydration of fluids.

• Assisting in their personal hygiene like bathing them in the bed, mouthwash and diaper changing for unconscious patients who cannot help themselves.

• Assisting in their food preparation and feeding

• Carrying out mild to moderate wound dressing

• Recording and documenting important incidents at job sites and patients worries that should be taken care of.

• An educator: Can educate my patient by counselling them on how to manage their medical conditions at home on discharge.
