•Tactical Buyer In charge of the electronic components, with overseas and United States suppliers, having shortages meeting with our supervisor to review the shortages we have plus the possible shortages for the future, the increases and also the cancelations, pull in and push out from our customers, we also have to verify and put actions on the materials that are at the warehouse with problems with the paperwork and follow up. When we have increases we give a close follow up with meetings and advise the customer on all the improves or extra charges for approval of some of the components if we have extra fees for expedite, One of our principal customer is Alcatel that give us support with raw materials, they are our customer but at the same time they supply material to us, they have a web page where they charge their inventory on several locations so we can pull in the material as needed. All the demand is loaded to Rapid Response, where we can see all the information related to the MRP, we have to analyze and place orders as needed, An EDI is sent to suppliers every week after being analyzed, for the suppliers to provide information in advance in case of any problems on delivery on time of the material during the following weeks or even months. When we are notified any problem we immediately elevate the information to our customers and all people involved. Our procedures include all kind of activities as of, quotes of freight, the PPV report, review problem invoices, load new supplier when they are approved, verify the Agile page in case we have ECN’s, FN’s give the support immediately and excellent customer service
