Recruited to streamline policies/procedures to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money-Laundering regulations. Developed and/or reorganized Fraud Prevention, Pre-Funding and Post-Closing Audit SOPs to reduce overall risk exposure and improve loan file quality. • Fraud Prevention. Reorganized department developed policies/procedures, defined credit risk parameters, created reporting system for Executive Board, improved file turntime, and recruited, hired, and trained 6 new staff. Conducted up to 600 fraud and pre-funding audits per month (2012-2014).
• Pre-Funding Audits. Increased capacity and decreased turntime for file processing/fraud audits from 72 hours to 24; ensured compliance with FNMA and FHLMC requirements. Collaborated with sales team and focused on front-end processes to improve file quality and mitigate credit risk.
