Provide front desk support three days a week, working 12 hour shifts for busy urgent care center. Registering patients, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance eligibility, all while coordinating with clinical staff to make sure everything runs copestetick. Answering phones to assist patients that are looking for test results, have questions or concerns, or would like to schedule an appointment. This also includes answering calls or faxes from other offices looking for results from the employer services that we provide. This includes drug screenings, pre-employment physicals,Dot physicals, Vaccines, Respirator fir tests, blood draws, ect. Scan all clinical documents from the days services into our current system Athena, then verify the docs in the patients charts. Currently I'm training for the switch our practice is going to make to the software Experity. Mult- tasking in a fast paced environment all while proving patients with excellent customer service all at once is thus far the most challenging position I have held yet.
